An auto graveyard in the middle of a Saskatchewan wheatfield has its fair share of restless spirits....

cool find and great capture. :D

Thank you!

Ghost-wise, it was a pretty eventful trip...

Excellent grain in this photo. The black and white is very effective - seeing items that would have been recorded in that media, yet the items obviously predating the technology used to capture it.

I also like the expanse of empty behind the cars. Is that the future they have turned away from?

I really liked this "Prairie Ghost" series!

Ooo, irony....good point.....It was a trip into the past, no doubt about it.

I love the thought you put into your comments! And the series might not be finished- I have a few more photos that need a bit of doctoring but might still be worthy to post.

I call them as I see them. My mind works in strange ways and I see a story in almost everything I look at.

I adore this series and if there are more, please share them with the dull headed masses.

That was mean :D

Sad reminders that we are not so bright as we think we were ...
*Thinks of 1958 automobile line-up ... pathetic*

Wonderfully paradoxical picture. There are so many ways of interpreting the image. Could be two old men talking ...

I'm fully aware that if my opinions were cash a hundred of them still wouldn't buy anything. :)

Back when automobiles were more than mere transportation- they were damned near works of art. ;)

Oh, the tales these two 'old men' could tell us...thanks for your comments!
